Real-time swim coaching allows a swimmer to hear technique, pacing and safety instructions without stopping at the wall. A coach speaks into a dry transmitter, and the swimmer hears the message through a waterproof receiving headset.
Tayogo offers two systems for different training environments: the professional T8 + W24T system and the flexible T6 + W Series system.
How coach-to-swimmer communication works
- The coach keeps the transmitter dry beside the pool or on shore.
- The coach selects a communication channel and speaks into the transmitter or microphone.
- A compatible waterproof receiver is set to the same channel.
- The swimmer hears the instruction during the set through the headset.
This is one-way coach-to-swimmer communication. The swimmer receives the coach's voice but does not speak back through the W24T or standard T6 swimming receivers.
T8 + W24T: professional team communication
The T8 + W24T Swim Coach Communicator uses UHF walkie-talkie technology and 16 channels. It is designed for swim clubs, schools, professional teams and open-water training where stronger range and interference resistance are important.
- T8 transmitter remains dry with the coach.
- W24T is the compatible waterproof receiving headset.
- One transmitter can send instructions to multiple receivers on the same channel.

T6 + W Series: flexible coaching and audio
The T6 uses FM transmission and works with compatible W18, W23, W24 and W25 receivers. It suits private lessons, smaller groups and coaches who also want to stream music or other phone audio.

Best practices during training
- Set all receivers to the same channel before swimmers enter the water.
- Keep the transmitter dry and position its antenna vertically.
- Test voice volume and headset placement before the set begins.
- Use different channels when multiple coaches work nearby.
- Rinse waterproof receivers with fresh water and dry charging contacts after use.
