Bluetooth Does Not Travel Reliably Underwater
Your phone connects to T6 by Bluetooth on the poolside. T6 then sends the audio signal to W18 in Receiving mode, so you are not relying on a direct underwater Bluetooth connection.

Turn On T6
Power on the T6 transmitter. It is preset to Channel 1 (CH01) at the factory.

Open Bluetooth on your phone, find T6, and connect. Start Spotify, Audible, Apple Music, podcasts or other phone audio.

Power on W18. It starts in Receiving Mode by default and is also factory preset to CH01.

No Channel Setup Needed: T6 and W18 are both factory preset to Channel 1 (CH01). Simply power them on—no manual channel matching is needed for normal first-time use. If you later change channels to avoid interference, set T6 and W18 to the same channel.

Can I listen to Spotify, Audible, Apple Music and podcasts while swimming?
Yes. Play the audio on your phone, connect the phone to T6 by Bluetooth, and power on W18. W18 starts in Receiving Mode by default, so you can hear the audio while you swim.
Why not connect the phone directly to W18 by Bluetooth underwater?
Bluetooth does not travel reliably through water. For live phone audio while swimming, use T6 with W18 in Receiving Mode.
Is the T6 transmitter waterproof?
No. T6 must stay dry on the poolside. W18 is the waterproof component of this SwimCombo.

I got the T6-W18 and it’s the best thing ever! I was tempted by bone conduction but i wanted a better sound so i picked the in ear and it’s amazing!.
Since 2012 i’ve tried many and i was so tired downloading music that i stopped using all the ones i had. I can’t believe i can hear my spotify no problem. I train better, i don’t get bored so i don’t even realized how much i’ve swam.
The only thing i hope they do in a no long future is to make waterproof transmitters and maybe a shade for them to lol because i swim in an open pool so i have to put it farther somewhere i can find a shade so it doesn’t get wet and so it doesn’t get the sun all the time and im scared someone will steal it. Besides that is the best money i have spend.
I had no problem with the signal. The podcast came in clear (no interference and no fade) even doing a flip turn at the other end of the pool.The transmitter switches the bluetooth signal from your cellphone to a one watt FM signal to your headphones. You can test this signal out by using a FM radio. One of the drawbacks is the additional time in setting it up before my swim. It went better than I thought the first time I set it up. The transmitter like your phone is not waterproof so you have to be cautious. I keep both in a clear plastic makeup bag with the antenna hanging out. If you like listening to podcast without spending the time downloading it to your headphones than I recommend these.

Downloading music was a bit difficult for me, but with this Wireless Transmitter, I can easily to connect with the phone and no longer need to download music. I can listen to music directly from Spotify on my phone—it's truly amazing!
By the heavens it actually works! Sound is clear, no hiss and no breaks in the music. Setup was also easy. I cant believe it I can stream audiobooks under water. An absolute game changer.
I found that fitting the unit on the back of my head, covered by a cap, works best. The cap can’t go over the ears tho.

This product is amazing. I swim laps in my 58’ swimming pool and SiriusXM radio comes in loud and clear while swimming laps. I didn’t believe it until I tried it. A must have for swimmers
I love my tayogo headphones. The music is clear and I can listen to any album or playlist using Spotify without having to download music. I can also change channels if there is any static or interference. I tried more expensive headphones with similar features and had more static than with my Tayogo headphones. The only downside is the frequent charging. I charge the transmitter every time after I use it. Also the headphones do not always display the red or green light as it should. In general though, it’s great for playing music while swimming. I give it 4 stars (downgraded from 5) because of the frequent charging.
Finally… headphones that survived my dramatic freestyle intervals and aggressive flip turns. 💁♀️🏊♀️
I was skeptical because underwater audio devices can be VERY hit or miss, but this combo impressed me right away. Comfortable fit, stayed in place, easy enough to use, and the sound underwater was clearer than expected.
The transmitter feature is honestly the game changer for me. Not having to fuss endlessly with downloaded files feels modern and convenient.
Bonus: Music during swimming somehow turns me from “slightly tired human” into “Olympic athlete in my own mind.” Highly recommend! 🌊
For years I used a bone conductive mp3 product that worked well except for the need to refresh the playlist to keep from getting stale. It was a pain trying to keep modern mp3s. This easily connects to my phone and now I’m streaming Spotify which saves a lot of time and the music is very clear. I swim in a 25 yard pool and have not experienced any drops, even with flip turns. I haven’t used it for FM or mp3s but is working great with streaming.
First, regarding the choice between in-ear and bone conduction, I tried the later one by a different brand and returned it immediately, since there is a huge difference in the sound every time the ear goes into or out of the water.
This is a limitation of the technology. Maybe it's acceptable for music, but certainly not for audio books or podcast, where you actually need to understand the content.
I ordered the T6+W18, since it seems to have much better designed earplugs compared to the T6+W16, and indeed, they are totally water-tight, which is crucial for in-ear earphones.
I already swam almost 2 hours with them and they are perfect! I swim in a 25 meters pool and reception is 100% with not a hint of static (I chose channel 7 for luck).
I wear the device around my neck and the earphones stay in my ears with no problem for over 30 minutes of swimming.
Customer service is great. I asked few questions before I ordered and after the product arrived, and the responses were quick, and very helpful.
