Customer photo review of Tayogo W22 Swimming Bone Conduction Headphones, Bluetooth 5.4, 32GB Memory

These headphones are wonderful.First off the box is great and the magnetic charger is really cool. The directions were clear and it was really easy to put music on.I mainly use these headphones for swimming, which I did today. I was worried if they would fall off my head but they did not. They were great!

These are the greatest. Much simpler to use than my prior swimming sound system (which I had used for ~15 years, no longer available). I was surprised at the clarity of sound. Only trick is getting the right ear plugs to use with them - I tried several, but the ones included in the kit are actually the best and easiest to fit. I have also used these for music while walking - pretty nice; I feel like I can hear the music AND hear the ambient sounds - entertainment and safety.

The audio was what I was most worried about, but it's a lot better than traditional in-ear headphones. The bass is much deeper, and the piano notes are crisp and clear. Once you're in the water, with the earplugs in and the MP3 player in the correct position under your swim cap, the audio experience becomes an immersive music bliss as you swim. If you're concerned about audio quality or volume, let me reassure you, there's no need to worry.

Overall I like them, When I snorkeled/swam with goggles, I used a hairband to tie them to my ponytail, which worked pretty well. Sound quality was good, even in the transition between breathing in air and going back underwater. I like the ability to switch back and forth between Bluetooth and MP3.

A Game Changer! I have swum with my new waterproof bone conduction headphones ten times. So far, everything is working perfectly. The provided ear plugs fit well and the bone conduction headpiece hooks over my ears and fits great. I have two of the old style Tayogo mp3 waterproof players. The buttons on this new one are easy to figure out and push. Also, when powering off, a voice tells me "power off." The new magnetic charging system is slick! I haven't experienced it yet, but it also tells you "battery low." The first picture is of the buttons on the side. The + and - are raised so you can feel them without looking. The second picture is how the headphones fit on your head. I thought bone conduction would be closer to your temple, but they fit further down and actually hook over your ears. The third picture is of the little plastic strap that Tayogo includes to help your headphones fit snugly. Use this piece, it really makes your headphones fit better. In fact, they don't move while swimming. One small problem to be aware of: When you power on, the default is Bluetooth, which is easily changed to mp3 player, but the volume initially is quite high. Be careful. I would recommend this bone conduction player highly. Five stars to Tayogo!

I had several of these waterproof MP3 for swimming , this must be the fourth . So far I can say that by far it is the most complete. One of the great things about this product is that the cable both to charge it and to load the songs is connected magnetically so there is no chance of a socket rusting or bad contacts.

Didn’t fall off — first swim win. Worried they’d slip, but they stayed on for the whole swim. Loading music was simple and the magnetic charger feels premium. Exactly what I wanted for pool workouts.

Great sound — snugger fit would help me. Underwater audio with plugs is very good and battery lasts many sessions. On hard push-offs they can shift on my head unless I use the strap and a cap. Still the best swim music option I’ve owned.

Earplugs unlock the sound. Clarity surprised me. With the included plugs and the pads under my cap, podcasts are easy to follow underwater. Also nice for walks where I still hear traffic.

Use the fit strap — it matters. The little strap in the box snugs the band so nothing moves on push-offs. Voice prompts for power and mode are helpful when you’re wet and can’t see the buttons. Battery life has been excellent.

Upgrade from older bone conduction. More memory, longer battery, and fully sealed waterproofing versus my old set. Bigger buttons are easier mid-set. Copy-paste MP3s from my laptop took minutes.

Open water podcasts. I listen to podcasts crossing the lake. Silicon plugs improve clarity and I don’t need max volume. Loading files doesn’t bother me at all — Bluetooth is for dry land only.

Snorkel and lap friendly. Used a hairband trick with my ponytail for snorkeling and it worked. Sound stayed usable moving between surface and underwater. Switching Bluetooth and MP3 is handy.

The headphones are well made and good sound quality, but for me they don’t work well for swimming. The sound is too much bass and I don’t hear the vocals well. I need to wear earplugs and this is part of the problem. I’ve had several email messages to and from customer services

Tayogo W22 Swimming Bone Conduction Headphones, Bluetooth 5.4, 32GB MP3

Item arrived faster than expected. Quality of sound is very high, durability seems to be as described. Massive storage, with the lack of physical buttons for media control (like earlier models had) being the only downside. On the whole, I think it's fantastic value for the price and would buy again.

Tayogo W22 Swimming Bone Conduction Headphones, Bluetooth 5.4, 32GB Memory

I have used an old model Tayogo for a few years, but saw this model and bought it because the buttons are much easier to use! Also, sound is extremely good, not audible by anyone sitting next to me. The space for music files is huge. I won’t use it for swimming. So. easy to charge. So good all round, I’ve bought one for my son. Can recommend highly.

This is my second bone conduction headphones from Tayogo. I have previously use the S3 model for approximately 4 years. The W22 model has several advantages over the S3; larger memory, longer battery life and they are completely waterproof. It also has larger buttons so it's much easier to advance to the next song, which I do frequently. The magnetic charging is nice, no more fiddling with the little rubber door that covers the charging port. Most importantly I find the sound quality to be good. I can hear the music clearly and I don't have to adjust the volume to be really loud. I use the headphones primarily for biking and like being able to hear traffic and other surrounding sounds. At 42 grams they are light and comfortable even with a bike helmet and glasses on. The headphones arrived nicely packaged. The package contains headphones, nice charging cable, usb A to C adapter, leash(?), ear plugs, and a manual. Loading mp3s from my computer was as easy as copy, paste. I put around 300 mp3s on it and they only used up 1.5 GB, leaving a huge amount of space for more music. They came fully charged so I haven't tested charging them yet. The manual says a full charge takes 1-1.5 hours. The bluetooth connection seems to be stable and the microphone is clear. There are voice prompts that tell you each time you press a button what the effect was. So far these have been good bone conduction headphones with no issues.

I ran across bone conduction technology while reading a novel. I was intrigued. I was a telephone operator many years ago and used to wear a Plantronics over the hear headset. It came with a set of "buds" made of very soft plastic that went in the ear canal. I wore a size 3; the largest was a size 10. I guess I have small ear canals. They were very comfortable. Then, small headphones came out that "fit" in your ear. They never fit in my ear correctly. They hurt. I have never liked over the head and with big phones over your ears on a hot day; no, thank you! So, bone conduction seemed like a winning technology. I ordered these to see. Set up was dead simple, and they were partially charged, so I could use them immediately. Wow! I love these so much I would marry them! The sound is exceptional. I like Classical music, and these really do justice to my favorite composers. There is a tiny bit of sound leakage if you have your music source at the highest volume and a person is sitting right next to you, but that's to be expected. In the same scenario, they vibrate if the volume is very high, but don't distort, which is just great. I wear glasses, and they fit perfectly. I took the dog for a walk and, because of the COVID-19 pandemic, even wore a facemask and glasses with these on. We enjoyed a brisk walk while I could hear music and what was happening around me. My phone rang, and it had no issues automatically switching to Bluetooth. The sound quality was great, and my caller could hear me just fine. Charging was simple and fast. The little light went from red to blue in about 15 minutes. I haven't had them long enough to find out how long the charge lasts, and I'll update that later. These are so comfortable, if I didn't hear the music, I would forget they were on.
