T6 + W23 · Artistic swimming
One routine. Music and coaching, together.
Bring your routine music and live coaching cues to each swimmer. T6 mixes phone audio with the coach’s microphone and transmits both to W23 bone-conduction receivers on the same channel.
Strong signal observed at 2 metres in Tayogo’s testing.

Selectable channels
Set T6 and the team’s W23 receivers to the same channel.
Reception varies with pool conditions, transmitter placement and headset positioning. Test the system in your pool at the depths used in your routines.
Built around practice
Keep the music flowing. Make the next correction.
Deliver counts, timing cues and formation feedback through the same audio feed. Each athlete wears a personal W23 receiver, and the coach can speak without stopping the music.
W23 combines an open-ear bone-conduction design with a flexible silicone neckband. Add compatible receivers as your team grows.
Underwater performance
Two depths. Two different measurements.
Audio reception: ≥2 metres
Tayogo observed a strong signal during underwater reception testing at a depth of 2 metres. Actual reception depends on the pool and setup.
Waterproof testing: approximately 5 metres
W23 undergoes waterproof testing at approximately 5 metres of water depth, as do all Tayogo waterproof headphones. This is a waterproof test condition, not a 5-metre audio reception specification.
W23 is IPX8 rated. The waterproof test depth does not establish a continuous-use depth or duration. T6 is not waterproof and must stay dry beside the pool.
Simple poolside setup
From your phone to your team.
Set up T6: place it dry and upright beside the pool, with the antenna fully extended.
Add your audio: connect the phone to T6 by Bluetooth and connect the coach microphone.
Match the channel: put each W23 in Receiving Mode and select the T6 channel.
Check, then train: test listening positions and routine depths before starting the session.
Bluetooth connects the phone to the dry T6 transmitter. T6 uses FM transmission to reach the swimmers’ headphones; the underwater link is not Bluetooth.

Before your first session
Questions from teams.
Practical answers to questions raised in customer reviews, alongside essential setup guidance.
Can swimmers hear music and the coach together?
Yes. T6 mixes phone audio with microphone voice and sends both to the W23 receivers on the same channel. The coach does not need to pause the music.
Does it receive audio at 5 metres underwater?
The approximately 5-metre figure refers to waterproof testing. The stated underwater reception depth is ≥2 metres, with strong signal observed at 2 metres in Tayogo testing. Reception at greater depths has not been established by that test.
Can we expand an existing T6 team system?
Yes. Add compatible W23 receivers and match the transmitter channel. Contact us if you need help confirming the correct receiver version.
Can swimmers talk back?
No. This is a one-way audio system from coach to swimmers.
Do we need to load music onto W23?
No. W23 has no built-in MP3 memory. Play the routine audio on your phone and send it through T6.
What should our club check before a larger order?
Check reception in your actual pool, across the positions and depths your swimmers use. Send us your pool dimensions, required depth and team size so we can discuss a suitable setup.
Can one T6 send the same music and coaching cues to several swimmers?
Yes. Each swimmer needs a compatible W23 receiver in Receiving Mode, tuned to the same channel as T6. One T6 sends a shared music-and-voice feed to the group; it does not send different tracks to individual swimmers. Select a package with enough receivers for your team.
What should I check if I hear static or the audio cuts out?
Fully extend the T6 antenna and keep the transmitter dry and upright beside the pool. Confirm that every W23 is in Receiving Mode on the same channel as T6. Try a different poolside position and test the full routine area and depth before practice. Reviewers reported clearer reception after correcting antenna and transmitter placement.
Can I wear W23 under a swim cap?
Yes. Reviewers describe wearing the flexible silicone neckband under a swim cap during choreography practice. Position the bone-conduction pads against the skin and check that the cap holds the headset comfortably without excessive pressure. Test the fit during your usual movements before a full session.
Will the included earplugs help me hear the audio?
Several reviewers reported clearer underwater audio with the included waterproof earplugs. Try the system with and without them during a short practice to find the fit and listening level that works for you.
Should we recharge between training sessions?
Check the charge of T6 and every W23 before practice. Reviewers who run long training days or back-to-back lessons recommend charging between blocks when needed. Their experiences are not a guaranteed battery runtime; plan charging around your actual session length.
How should we care for W23 after pool practice?
Rinse W23 with fresh water after pool use and let it dry thoroughly, including the charging contacts, before connecting the charging cable. Keep T6 and its microphone dry. Follow the user guide for cleaning and charging; do not charge a wet headset.
Team can share one transmitter. One T6, multiple W23s on the same channel — perfect for duet and small team blocks. Swimmers get the routine track plus live timing cues. Huge upgrade from phone speakers at the wall.
Team training finally sounds organized. Whole lane hears the same beat and the same coach channel. Timing on lifts and patterns cleaned up within a week. Phone stays on deck paired to T6; nobody fiddles with underwater Bluetooth that never worked anyway.
No MP3 loading for choreography. We play competition music straight from the phone — no dragging files onto headsets before every block. Coach can layer counts live. Waterproof rinse-and-dry before charging has become our team ritual and the gear stays reliable.
Love the system — charge between sessions. Streaming and coach voice are a big win. Only note is we charge the transmitter after most heavy training days so we’re never caught mid-set. Still five-star useful for our squad once that’s a habit.
Game changer for artistic practice. Bone conduction stays comfortable under a cap for long sets, and the coach mic cuts through clearly. No more shouting across the deck. Reception held for our shallow and mid-depth work around two meters.
Worth it for private lessons. I coach one-on-one and can give corrections while their music keeps playing. Athletes stay focused and I don’t wreck my voice. Battery has lasted through back-to-back lessons with a top-up between blocks.
Private lesson game changer. For one-on-one artistic lessons I keep music rolling and speak corrections into the mic. Athletes stay in character instead of stopping every eight counts. Battery has covered back-to-back private sessions with a quick top-up.
Works great — place T6 carefully. Music and coach mix is excellent for our club. We did get a bit of static until we fully extended the antenna and kept T6 upright by the deck. Once placement was right, laps and figures were fine.
Silicone neckband stays put. The W23 silicone band feels secure under a swim cap and doesn’t dig in during long choreography blocks. Coach voice is loud enough without drowning out the music.
No MP3 hassle for routines. We play the routine from the phone and coach over it — no file transfers to the headset. Exactly what we needed for artistic swimming practice. Waterproofing has been solid session after session.
Stopped shouting across the pool. I used to yell figures from the deck and lose my voice by mid-practice. With the coach mic mixed over the music, athletes hear counts while the routine keeps playing. Waterproofing has held up through three weeks of daily sets.
FM underwater beats Bluetooth myths. Bluetooth never worked once we went under. This kit uses FM from the dry T6, so Spotify from the phone actually reaches mid-pool. Bone conduction under a silicone cap stayed put through hybrids and sculls.
Routine music and deck cues together. Our artistic squad finally runs Spotify routines and live coach counts on the same channel. Swimmers hear the track and timing cues without climbing out. T6 stays dry on deck with the antenna up and the W23s stay comfortable under caps.
Excellent once antenna placement is right. Music-plus-coach mix is exactly what our club needed. We had light static until we fully extended the antenna and kept T6 upright near mid-pool. After that, shallow and two-meter work stayed clear. Worth learning the placement habit.
Duet and trio share one T6. One dry transmitter feeds multiple W23 receivers on the same channel — perfect for duets and small teams. Everyone gets the same music plus my cues. Huge upgrade from a phone speaker propped at the wall.
Music and coaching on one channel. We finally run routines with Spotify on the phone and coach counts in the same feed. Athletes hear both through the W23 without us stopping the music. Setup was straightforward once T6 stayed dry with the antenna up.
Open-ear awareness during landings. Bone conduction keeps ears open so athletes still feel water pressure and hear poolside cues, yet the music and my mic come through. Cap-friendly silicone band hasn’t dug in during long choreography days.
Clear underwater, easy to learn. Paired the phone to T6 in minutes and switched W23 into receiving mode. Sound stayed clear through freestyle and sculls. Using the included earplugs made the audio even cleaner.
Open-ear awareness plus music. Bone conduction keeps ears free so they still sense the water, but the routine audio is there when they need it. Waterproof seal holds up; we rinse and dry before charging as instructed.
Clear coach voice without drowning music. Balance between coach talk and the routine track is better than I expected. Voice cuts through for holds and transitions, but the music still drives the mood. Included earplugs made underwater detail cleaner for our deep figures.
