Tayogo App Privacy Notice

Tayogo Technology Limited operates the Tayogo companion app. Contact: cs@tayogo.com. This notice covers the app; shopping and external websites have separate policies.

Device control and local information

The app uses Bluetooth to discover, connect to and control compatible Tayogo headphones and transmitters. It reads device identifiers, model, firmware, battery, channel, playback and sound settings. Connection history, language preferences, playlists and troubleshooting logs are kept on your device. Device control does not require an account. The app does not automatically upload this device information or your local music to Tayogo servers.

Microphone

Coach talk uses your phone microphone only when you activate that feature and grant permission. Audio is processed locally and sent to the selected audio output for compatible equipment. The app does not upload microphone audio to a cloud service.

Third-party components and network access

Jieli JL_BLEKit provides Bluetooth device communication; SpeexKit provides audio processing. This release does not enable their online product-image or firmware-check services. App firmware installation is disabled. No advertising or analytics service is enabled, and the app does not track you across other companies’ apps or websites. If you open the App Store, support, product or other external links, the destination service receives the information needed for that visit and applies its own privacy policy.

Information you choose to send to support

If you email us or deliberately share a troubleshooting log, we receive the information you send, including your email address and any device or diagnostic details in the attachment. We use it to respond and investigate your request, retain it for as long as needed for support and applicable obligations, and do not use it for advertising. Review logs before sharing and avoid including unnecessary personal information. The app does not automatically send logs.

Your choices

You can change Bluetooth and microphone permissions in iOS/iPadOS Settings, remove saved devices in device management, and remove the app to delete its local container. System backups are controlled by Apple and your device settings. Contact us to request access to or deletion of information you have sent to support, subject to applicable retention requirements.

Children and updates

The app does not require a profile or collect children’s personal information through registration. Contact us if you believe a child has sent personal information to support. We will post material changes to this notice here.
