Tayogo T6 + W24 Rock Pro Stream Swimming Combo | Bone Conduction Headphones for Spotify & Audible

I think this is the best option out there for listening to music or Audiobooks while swimming. The other ones that claim you can simple download your books or music onto an internal hard drive - well they all fail to mention that you need to decrypt everything using sketchy and/or expensive software, and even then the experience is sub optimal. I had some initial challenges with sound volume and quality, but I found that if I use the included band and position the device by my temple (I.e., on the side of my head instead of the back, wear ear pluga that fit well, and wear a swim cap over the device, I can hear and understand my book! Even though the device is on one side, it sounds even. I still have some issues with intermittent static, but overall, I'm happy and swimming longer.

The Rock PRO has made lap swimming a lot less monotonous. The transmitter and headphones pair up for a proper underwater sound experience, and the sizeable onboard memory means I can load it up and leave the phone in the locker. Once it is set going, the music stays with me lap after lap. It stays comfortably in place while swimming and does not shift around when I push off the wall. For anyone who finds long swims a bit dull, having music underwater changes the session completely. It has turned pool time into much less of a grind.

Finally! This Bone Conduction Waterproof Swim Headphones works under water. I mean, it actually WORKS. It transmits from my phone so i can stream easily. I've tried many types of swim headphones, and often the reception is spotty. This worked well. it doesn't use bluetooth- it uses radio waves. Brilliant. Also because it doesn't try to loop on your ears, it's much more comfortable than anythin else I've tried.

This kit is fully featured, including a nice case to carry it everything in a fairly compact manner. It is very flexible as it can be used both as a typical radio / bluetooth music listener, while also allowing someone on dry land to talk to you via the transmitter. This is the most useful feature for me, as I can wear it when I go swimming and snorkelling, and receive ‘time for lunch” messages from my wife and children who are on the shore, even a fair distance away. The yellow ‘headphone’ is the actual speaker and is fully waterproof, including a magnetic charger similar to the MagSafe MacBook chargers. This headphone operates in a few modes: 1. FM Radio mode - the yellow receiver works standalone and receives any FM radio channel of your choosing. Configuration is the same as old car head units - you just keep going up or down the frequency until your desired channel 2. Bluetooth mode - this only works outside the water and pairs to your phone. Not much use, as it is not a great speaker outside the water unless you think walking around with a huge blob strapped on top of one ear fits your style. 3. Transmitter Mode - in this mode, the speaker listens to the same channel that the transmitter is tuned to like a walkie talkie receiver. You then pair your phone via bluetooth to the *transmitter* , which then transmits the audio through. This is the main usage mode from my perspective, as it also enables the ‘coach mode’, where whomever is holding the transmitter and your phone on dry land can talk to you via the PushToTalk button. I didn’t notice any difference in sound quality between the transmitter mode, and the direct bluetooth connection, although I noticed some occasional interference sound, especially when being too close and extending the antenna to its maximum ~40cm height. This is an impressive set, designed specifically for these under-water use cases. The long battery life is also excellent, as is the excellent range of the transmitter, compared to bluetooth. It easily covers an olympic pool at 50m. I like that the transmitter is charged via standard USB-C, avoiding any proprietary chargers, although the headphone itself can’t, due to the magnetic connection. A good quality band is also included for flexibility in use, although the ‘headphone’ is designed to also be mounted onto goggles, directly into the swimming cap.

Bought it to replace a failing SONR unit which no longer charged properly. This unit is superior. I swim daily at my condo. The FM transmitter allows me to leave my phone and transmitter on my balcony if I choose. It also goes about a foot underwater. The bluetooth mode works well when your head is above water (I swim breaststroke) so I prefer the BT. In BT mode I can fast forward. The unit also has ample storage to play mp3s directly. The unit is well built and has better battery life than my previous player. In the photo I have the player on the bottom strap of my goggles, but I found that BT works better if I use the top strap as I can move it high enough to essentially keep it above water. Highly recommend.

This is a new twist. My wife had problems before getting her traditional underwater bone conduction headset to work under her swim cap. This product is configured in a way that enables it to be easily worn and controlled under the cap. It is also very useful that it can take MP3 files in addition to being able to do bluetooth, and the unique ability to transmit the signal via FM, which works much better underwater than bluetooth. We listen to audiobooks, and it was very easy to download the files to the Rock.

I'm 77 and have been swimming since I was 7 years old. Over the last 25 years I have gone through dozens of swimmers headphones. The weak point is always the ear plug. My previous bone conduction headsets didn't work that well, particularly if I raised my head out of the water. The reception point also always had to be poised on the top back of my head to receive a proper bluetooth signal. That's no longer the case with these headphones. I listen to audiobooks and podcasts so I need to stream a bluetooth connection from my phone. I just got these and tried them in the pool at LA Fitness today. Swimming for exercise without audio can be pretty boring. These headphones are the best that I have ever used. I've included pictures. Positioning the headphones at the back of the skull didn't work too well for me. However, positioning the headphones at the side near the front of the goggles (about an inch or so back) worked quite well. You need to also simultaneously wear the plain ear plugs that Tayogo provides. I turned the volume setting on the headphones, the transmitter, and my iPhone to max and I was able to hear a YouTube podcast quite well. LA Fitness has wifi that I was able to connect my iPhone to. I was able to hear it so well that I basically forgot that I was even swimming and increased my distance swum from 1000 yards to a full mile (72 lengths). I could hear the dialogue clearly and asked another swimmer if they could hear what I was streaming and they said they couldn't. You don't have to worry about disturbing anyone else in your vicinity. The settings - on/off/pause and volume level - are pretty straightforward. Charging them is easy with the supplied cables. The bluetooth connection of the transmitter to my iPhone was easy. Their rugged construction means that they should last quite a while (no delicate ear plugs) and I look forward to using them as I pursue my sustained health and fitness goals. One additional thing. I saw a few negative reviews and I feel very strongly these are the result of the user not positioning the headphone as I suggested. Like any tool - it only works if you know how to use it correctly. Don't fault the tool, fault the user. This tool certainly works for me! **** Additional after using it for a few weeks... I initially started with clipping the headphones to my goggle strap. However, the unit is also shipped with its own rubber strap and I've found that that works as well or even better than attaching it to the goggle strap. You can adjust the position on your head for the best comfort and audio bone conduction. I put my phone and the transmission unit in a small backpack on the end of the 25 yard pool. That works okay. However, you also place the backpack in a more elevated position (like on the nearby pool lift seat) for slightly improved signal transmission.

I found these to work amazing! No more loading mp3 likely original Tayogo. I found it very easy to set up and link to my phone. I can stream the entire length of the pool without any interference. The music is very clear. Initially I couldn’t get it loud enough but then I found it if I put it at the bottom of my skull and neck it sounded much better. So far so good, the battery lasts for several swims and is easy to charge.

Il marchio Tayogo è specializzato nella produzione di auricolari impermeabili per il nuoto. La particolarità di questo marchio è il trasmettitore radio disponibile per quasi tutti i modelli che permette di ascoltare la musica in streaming dal proprio cellulare anche sotto il pelo dell'acqua e a distanze ben maggiori della portata del bluetooth. L'uso principale del trasmettitore (dotato anche di microfono) è comunque in allenamento, dove il nuotatore può ricevere in maniera chiara le istruzioni dell'allenatore senza che quest' ultimo debba sgolarsi per farsi sentire in un ambiente cacofonico e rimbombante come una piscina. Tayogo produce auricolari a conduzione ossea sia open-ear che in-ear. Il modello in esame, un open-ear, è il Rock Pro W24 con trasmettitore T6. Il principio di funzionamento è semplice: si collega in bluetooth il cellulare col trasmettitore T6 e quindi si pongono gli auricolari in modalità ricezione radio usando il cellulare come lettore musicale. Non è comunque obbligatorio usare il trasmettitore T6 perché il Rock Pro è anche un lettore MP3 completamente autonomo con ben 32GB di memoria interna e 3 tasti che permettono la regolazione del volume, il salto traccia e la riproduzione sequenziale o casuale. Presente anche la radio FM. A differenza degli altri modelli, il Rock Pro non è dotato di nessuno tipo di archetto, si indossa tenendolo sulla nuca in vari modi: sotto la cuffietta da nuoto oppure agganciato tramite apposite asole all'elastico degli occhialini oppure ancora tramite un suo elastico. Il kit viene fornito con una buona custodia semirigida ricca di scomparti per tenere in ordine tutti gli accessori forniti: auricolari, trasmettitore, antenna, cavo usb-c di ricarica per il trasmettitore, cavo proprietario di ricarica per gli auricolari, tappini per le orecchie, fascetta elastica, adattatore usb-c usb-a. Ottima la fattura del Rock Pro, finiture perfette, plastiche di qualità, la parte con i due altoparlanti interni a contatto con il corpo ottimamente gommata. Anche il trasmettitore sembra ben fatto, con la base larga che permette di appoggiarlo in verticale. IMPRESSIONI D'USO - Sessioni di allenamento. A mio avviso questa è la sua funzione principale, dove eccelle. Utile sia all'allenatore che finalmente può dare indicazioni senza dover urlare o aspettare che il nuotatore sia con la testa fuori dall'acqua, ed utile al nuotatore che può ascoltare con chiarezza ed anche sott'acqua le istruzioni. Inoltre gli auricolari (testati agganciati all'elastico degli occhialini) non sono di alcun intralcio, è come non averli. Un istruttore può dare indicazioni a tutti i nuotatori dotati di auricolari sintonizzati sul suo canale, oppure possono coesistere più coppie allenatore/nuotatore, ognuna sintonizzata su un canale diverso. - Solo ascolto di musica. Usato esclusivamente per l'ascolto di musica il Rock Pro ha diversi limiti. Intanto, come tutti gli auricolari a conduzione ossea open-ear il suono è povero di basse frequenze, lo sciabordio dell'acqua nelle orecchie disturba l'ascolto (possono aiutare in questo caso i tappini in gomma forniti ma io li trovo scomodi) e la resa sonora è diversa sott'acqua o fuori acqua. In più in questo caso si perde anche la stereofonia (i due altoparlanti sono affiancati e non ai lati della testa come gli auricolari con archetto). Alzando il volume si manifestano troppe vibrazioni/distorsioni. Per ultimo, con la testa fuori acqua il suono è decisamente, troppo, esile. In conclusione trovo questo kit Rock Pro W24 con trasmettitore T6 un prodotto innovativo, ben costruito e rifinito, assolutamente consigliabile per scuole nuoto, agonistica o allenamenti mirati (giudizio 5 stelle). Non adeguato invece se usato esclusivamente per l'ascolto di musica (giudizio 2 stelle).

Ce casque à induction osseuse sans fil est super léger et on ne se rend même plus compte qu'on les porte ! Il se fixe sous mon bonnet et ne bouge pas lors d'un plongeon et dans les virages. La musique fonctionne très bien et l'on entend parfaitement ma playlist sou l'eau tout en ayant les oreilles libres. Le bluetooth est reconnu immédiatement, aucun problème de connexion. La qualité de son est parfaite et les micros intégrés fournissent un son clair et de qualité ! C'est vraiment appréciable et ça fait la différence par rapport aux autres casques sans fil. Le plus est le talkie-walkie qui permet de me parler quand je suis dans l'eau, pas besoin de crier, le son est très clair. Je ne m'en sers pas beaucoup car je fais des longueurs et je nage seul mais pour de l'apprentissage ou de la performance, c'est un excellent moyen de communiquer. La charge est rapide et il y en a pour 10h d'autonomie. Bref, je trouve ce casque a induction d’une qualité vraiment supérieure avec un son d’‘excellent qualité !!!
