Clear coaching voice in and around the water
W24T delivers the coach’s voice through dual bone conduction transducers while keeping the ear canal open. It starts in Receiver Mode after power-on and can switch between Receiver and Bluetooth modes with a double press. If a T8 transmission arrives during Bluetooth playback, the coach’s voice takes priority; W24T automatically returns to Bluetooth after the transmission ends.

Can athletes speak back to the coach?
No. T8 + W24T is a one-way coach-to-athlete communication system. W24T receives the coach’s voice and has no microphone.
Can one T8 communicate with several athletes?
Yes. Multiple W24T receivers set to the same T8 channel can receive the same transmission. Choose a multi-receiver kit or add W24T receivers as your team grows.
Can several coaches train different groups in one location?
Yes. Assign each T8 and its W24T group a different channel. There are 16 selectable channels available.
Can W24T work with another brand of walkie-talkie?
Yes. W24T can receive from compatible standard walkie-talkies when the actual operating frequency and CTCSS code match one of W24T’s fixed channel settings. Matching the displayed channel number alone is not sufficient because channel mappings can differ between brands. Receiving range varies with transmitter power, antenna, interference, terrain and water conditions. Always use frequencies permitted in your region.
How should T8 and W24T be maintained after training?
Rinse pool water and sweat from W24T with clean water, then wipe it dry. Make sure the magnetic contacts are completely dry before charging. Do not rinse or immerse T8; wipe it dry after use. For long-term storage, charge T8 at least once a week and W24T at least once every two weeks.
Does W24T work independently?
Yes. It can play Bluetooth audio above water or on land. W24T has no microphone and does not support Bluetooth calls. Bluetooth cannot transmit underwater, so use Receiver Mode with T8 during underwater training.
What happens during Bluetooth playback when the coach speaks?
A T8 transmission takes priority over Bluetooth playback. W24T temporarily disconnects Bluetooth, plays the coach’s instruction, and automatically returns to Bluetooth Mode after the transmission ends.
How does T8 Voice Control work?
Enable Voice Control to let the external microphone automatically trigger transmission when the coach speaks. Keep the microphone about 3–4 cm from the mouth. This mode may have an approximately 2-second start delay; use PTT when immediate transmission is preferred.
Which mode does W24T use after power-on?
W24T starts in Receiver Mode by default. Double-press the multifunction button to switch between Receiver Mode and Bluetooth Mode.
Can T8 + W24T stream Spotify underwater?
No. This system is optimized for coach voice communication. Choose a Tayogo T6 Swim Combo for phone music, Spotify, Audible or pacing audio during swimming.
How can athletes improve underwater clarity?
Wear the supplied waterproof earplugs to reduce water noise, and position the bone conduction transducers close to the ear area under the swim cap or goggle straps.
